Accounting Student Conference 2011
I am so busy with my assignment drafting these few days. :(
Back to the topic, there were around 200+ participants from around 20 University participated in this conference. Some of them travelled from as far as Terengganu, sponsored by university. Unlike me*
I reached Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside on sat around 8 something with my friend, Vivien. *special thanks to her bf for fetching us back and forth the conference :D
We done our registration and had our breakfast before heading to the Alam Warisan Ballroom for the 'Getting to Know You' game session. One of the game we played were 'Friendship unlocking' where each person was given a key or lock. Each lock can be opened by 4-6 keys. The 3 fastest groups that found the 4 pairing win a star. (Person who got high number of stars during conference win prizes!)

We failed to match it with any locks :'(
The we had an Opening Ceremony, sit through some speeches given by some of the sponsors. Best accounting students rewards were given as well. There were 2 people with cgpa 3.98. Yes I know, Insanely smart!!!!
Laguna
This is where we had our buffet.
Then we sit through 2 talks, each given by the Managing Director of BDO and Crowe Horwath.
After refreshment and checking in, there were another 2 talks by BDO and MIA.
I don't consider these talk as boring as I did learnt things that caught my attention. which of course, relate to my profession, accounting. :)

After dinner, we had 'Sejuta Impian' by Dana Belie 1 Malaysia.
We are asked to come up with an idea that serve the community which maximising the use of RM50k
if the idea presented is impressive enough, the group get to enter the competition on TV live!
My group didnt manage to impress the judges :(
but it was a good experience
Stated in the programme flow that 11pm is the 'end of day1'
but the presentation ended around 12pm.
Ssssuperb tired after showering
But guess what, we werent ready to go to sleep
We went downstairs to walk around the lakeside and blow wind
as well as some other participants
The view was DAMN nice
so relaxing while playing my mp3
sitting along the lakeside and swinging my leg
I wished the time stops at that moment
We hanged around till around 2 something
then head to bed at 3am
The next morning, woke up and Freeeeeeeeeezing cold
Vivien was shaking =X
Ended up both of us not enough sleep
Zzzz
After breakfast, we played a few team games and had a talk on 'managing career', then it's check out time!
What have we LEARNT today?
Conference almost ending..
We had a luncheon, while enjoying performances like poetry reading, singing and band, violin playing.
After the prize giving session, the Accounting Student Conference 2011 ended successfully.
It was a great experience participating in such conference and being exposed to people that are related to my profession, where I got different advises and information from them.
Be humble and ask, you might discover things that are out of your expectation! :D
